8. How I can make my gun shoot quieter?

The holes along the barrel are created to reduce the air pressure before they make the exploding sound at the end. Too many holes can reduce the pressure behind the ball, making the distance shorter and weaken the shots.


Calibrate your gun, you can get a paintball radar ($70) to calibrate the speed with the amount of air. Reducing the air pressure amount, means less noise. Paint ball manufacturers make the balls to be hit with a leveled amount of pressure. If your gun hits the ball too hard, the pressure can break the balls inside the gun. For safety reasons, don't exceed the 300 fps (feet per second).
